Thomas W. Handley

Thomas W. Handley has been on Republic’s board of directors since July 2016. He is the Chief Operating Officer supporting the investment operations of William H. Gates III and Cascade Asset Management Company.
Mr. Handley was previously employed by Ecolab Inc. from 2003 until his retirement in 2019. At Ecolab, Mr. Handley held a variety of senior management positions including almost seven years as its President and Chief Operating Officer, his position the year he retired. Prior to his time at Ecolab, he was a Vice President for Procter & Gamble. Mr. Handley also sits on the board of directors of HB Fuller Co.
Mr. Handley graduated from Claremont McKenna College and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.
