Katharine B. Weymouth
Katharine B. Weymouth has been on Republic’s board of directors since October 2018. She is Chief Operating Officer of ShineTogether, a start-up platform for parents of struggling and at-risk teens. She is also Senior Advisor to ChefMarket, an on-demand delivery service for restaurant chefs, and previously held numerous leadership positions at The Washington Post, including Publisher and Chief Executive Officer from 2008 through 2014. Ms. Weymouth sits on the boards of directors of Cable One, Inc., Xometry, Inc., Sequoia Mutual Fund, and Graham Holdings Co. She also serves as a trustee of the Philip L. Graham Fund, and is Chair of the Board for The Greater Washington Community Foundation.
Ms. Weymouth graduated from Harvard University and earned her law degree from Stanford University.
